Pfizer AIR Equity Fellowship in Chemistry

Research Fellowship

Pfizer's Academic Industrial Relations (AIR) Equity Fellowship provides a $20,000 fellowship for undergraduate students to conduct research in organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, crystallography, computational chemistry, chemical biology, or structural biology. The fellowship covers a stipend of $17,000 to the recipient and $3,000 to the faculty mentor for supplies. Research takes place during Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 at a minimum of 12 hours per week for 30 weeks. Fellows will present their research at Pfizer La Jolla at the end of summer.

Location: Based at your university — fellowship is hosted by Pfizer La Jolla, CA. Note: Pfizer has locations in New Jersey as well.

Eligibility: Must have completed at least one year of chemistry lecture and lab by May 2026. Chemistry majors preferred. Must demonstrate commitment to advancing equity and inclusion in STEM.
